Bumping Bellies

Here is Kellie and I posing in front of my mom's classroom door! This is probably the last photo that Kellie and I will get together before Baby Quade arrives. Kellie is 37 weeks pregnant in this photo and I am 25 weeks.

Baby Quade decided to be stubborn and is breech so Kellie has here C-section scheduled for November 16th. I have a feeling that Baby Q. will be here before that though!

22 Weeks Pregnant

Here I am at 22 weeks...Baby O. is getting very big! He is just over 1 lb. and about 9 inches long! Crazy how fast time is going.

His room is almost ready. James and I have just a few last minute touches to add. His final pictures of his bedroom will be coming soon!

It's a BOY!

We had our 20 week ultrasound today and we found out that we are having a healthy baby BOY! The look on Jimmy's face was priceless....and I guess you could say that mine was too! For the past 5 weeks I was convinced that we were having a baby girl! We are both really excited!Here is a picture of Baby Oxendine's side profile with his fist up by his chin. We had a 3-D ultrasound today but Baby didn't want to cooperate! He kept putting his hands over his face every time she tried to look at him. I guess he doesn't want us to know what he is going to look like! All of his measurements were completely normal....and he is right on schedule. We are due February 14, 2010!

Here I am 16 weeks Pregnant!

The baby bump is starting to show! It is making the pregnancy seem more real! Now I am just waiting to feel some movement in there! We have our 20 week ultrasound on September 30th. At that appointment we will confirm the sex of Baby O. and also make sure that they are growing the way that they should be!

The Making of a Baby Room

James and my neighbor Travis worked very hard painting the baby room for me! As you can see we split the wall and have baby green on the top with baby yellow on the bottom!

It's a BABY!

So the nice part about being a nurse is that I have access to an U/S machine! We took this picture at about 12 weeks! It is crazy how much the baby changed in just 5 weeks! The doctor said that she was 99% sure that she knew the sex of the baby, but we are still going to wait!

Baby Oxendine

We had our first ultrasound yesterday! As you can see Baby Oxendine is just a little peanut! Usually they don't do an ultrasound quite this early, but I was diagnosed with H1N1 (swine flu) on June 12 so my doctor wanted to make sure that everything was ok with baby! It was really neat to hear the heartbeat for the first time! It really made this pregnancy seem "real".

I am officially 7 weeeks 2 days along, and our due date is February 14, 2010. James is really hoping for a girl so he can have a sweetheart on sweetheart's day! We are not finding out what we are having, but a healthy baby is all that we pray for!

Honeymoon in Cancun

James and I stayed at the Cancun Royal all inclusive resort for our honeymoon. It was very relaxing! Great food, drinks (or so James tells me), and great people! We met some really nice couples that I believe will be a part of our lives forever.

We met Linda and Jason the first night that we were in Cancun! They were there celebrating their recent marriage as well! They are from Dallas, TX.

This is another couple that we met while we were there! Jeff and Shari....we met them on the airplane and spent the entire week with them. They were there celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary!

Our Wedding

James and I got married on June 20, 2009 in Wabasha. We had the wedding at Beach Park right along the Mississippi River and it was absolutely gorgeous! We couldn't have asked for a better day!

Our Wedding Party was big. I had 9 bridesmaids and James

had 5 groomsmen. We also had 2 flowergirls and 2 ringbearers. My nephew Xavier is the only one not shown in this photo. He did a really good job though!

Surprise!

James and I found out about Baby Oxendine about 10 days before our wedding! It came to us as a bit of a surprise, but we are sooo EXCITED! We didn't want to tell too many people until after we had our first appointment which was on June 30th.
